Summary : A successful Assembly Operator I can safely and efficiently assemble products that meet all quality requirements. This is an hourly, non-exempt position and reports to the Complex Assembly & Fulfillment Supervisor.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Interpret work orders, engineering drawings, and specifications.
• Use parts list and retrieve all parts needed to assemble order.
• Fit and assemble parts into complete assembly, using jigs, fixtures, hand tools, and power tools.
• Verify dimensions and alignment of assembly, using measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and scales.
• Utilize sand blast and wash & dry equipment.
• Use the proper lifting method depending upon size and weight of the item to be assembled,
• Continually inspect products and processes throughout assembly.
• Inspect and test the final assembly to ensure it meets specifications.
• Crosstrain on plant machinery as required.
