Dental Care Assistant

Join our team as a Dental Care Assistant and play a vital role in ensuring excellent patient experiences! Your responsibilities will include :

• Preparing patients for dental procedures to ensure a smooth workflow.
• Maintaining high standards of infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, and preparing necessary materials.
• Assisting dentists during medical and dental emergencies when required.
• Supporting dental hygienists in various procedures.
• Delivering exceptional patient care, addressing their needs and concerns.
• Accurately recording treatment information in patient records.
• Exposing dental x-rays and managing dental x-ray equipment.
• Providing patients with valuable information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs.
• Collecting and documentating medical and dental histories as well as patient vital signs.
• Following up with patients by giving postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
• Maintaining dental equipment and ensuring its proper care.
• Forming preliminary impressions for study casts and occlusal registrations.
• Managing the ordering of dental supplies and keeping track of dental equipment inventory.
• Creating temporary restorations and custom impressions from preliminary impressions.
