Jimmy John's Store Operations Assistant

This job contributes to Jimmy John's success by assisting the general manager in executing store operations during scheduled shifts. This job assists and supervises a team of store employees to create and maintain a Freaky Fast, hospital clean, environment. This job requires the ability to deploy team members and delegate tasks to complete daily systems and procedures with 100% integrity. The incumbent is responsible for acting in accordance with Jimmy John's policies and procedures.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to :

• Supporting general manager in staffing, training, and development of team members
• Constantly reviewing key business indicators and looking for opportunities to make positive change
• Ensuring a safe food environment
• Communicating clearly, concisely, and accurately to ensure effective operations
• Directing employees to complete tasks and to various work stations
• Executing store systems and procedures during shifts
• Following all operational procedures, including those for cash handling
• Maintaining a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume and setting the pace for the team
• Delivering outstanding customer service to all customers by acting with a customer first attitude
• Maintaining regular and consistent attendance and punctuality
• Assisting with new employee training

This Jimmy John's is independently owned and operated under a franchise agreement with LPH Ventures, franchisor of the Jimmy John's system.

Ability to direct the work of others. Ability to work in a team. Knowledge of the retail environment. Strong customer service skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships. Strong interpersonal skills. At least 18 years of age.
