Job Summary :

DT Professional Services is seeking a full-time Document Control Assistant to join our team in Norco, CA. This onsite role will support programs within the Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC) by maintaining control of technical documents, project records, and data in accordance with Department of Defense (DoD) standards and NSWC protocols. This position ensures all controlled documentation is accurate, secure, and accessible for authorized personnel, contributing to efficient program execution and compliance with Navy standards.

Responsibilities :

• Administer document control processes and systems for NSWC projects in alignment with DoD and Navy data management policies.
• Track, file, distribute, and archive technical documents, specifications, drawings, memos, and correspondence.
• Maintain version control and document histories using tools such as SharePoint, DoD SAFE, or proprietary Navy systems.
• Ensure compliance with government standards including MIL-STD, NIST, and NAVSEA directives.
• Coordinate with engineers, program managers, and technical writers to gather and manage deliverables.
• Assist in preparing documentation packages for review, submission, or contract deliverables (CDRLs / SDRLs).
• Support audits, inspections, and reviews by maintaining organized and retrievable documentation.
• Train project personnel on document control practices and government protocols.
• Maintain security protocols in handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other sensitive materials.

The compensation range for this position :  $24.01 - $26.75 hourly.
