Physician - Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist Location : Cooperstown, NY Visa Sponsorship Available (J-1 & H-1B) Overview : A leading academic health system in Central New York is seeking a full-time Outpatient Adult Psychiatrist. This opportunity is located in a scenic lakefront village offering year-round cultural and outdoor activities.Role & Responsibilities : Provide psychiatric evaluations, assessments, and medication management Work within a multidisciplinary team of psychiatrists, PMHNPs, and therapists Collaborate with / supervise nurse practitioners Occasional consults via telepsychiatry across network sites Blend of in-person and telehealth services Inpatient call no more than 1 : 5 weekdays and 1 weekend / month Teach medical students and residents EMR : EPICCompensation & Perks : Salary : $295,008 $330,000 Sign-on bonus up to $200,000 Group-employed model Eligible site for National Health Service Corps (NHSC) loan repaymentQualifications : MD, DO, or MBBS Board Certified / Board Eligible NYS license, BLS, and DEA requiredBenefits : Medical, dental, and vision insurance Paid time off, including holidays and vacations Malpractice coverage Retirement plan CME time and allowance Transition bonus
