[job_card.job_description]Work in the Labor & Delivery unit at a hospital setting High-risk L&D patient population Day shift : 3x12 hour shifts from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30 Call required : 36 hours in 6 weeks or 12 hours per pay period with a 45-minute onsite response time Every other weekend and every other holiday coverage required Float required within skillset, including to Mom / Baby and postpartum units Locals within 60 miles are accepted Duties include L&D nursing for high-risk populations and supporting related units as needed Modules must be completed pre-start and may be required during orientation First time travelers are accepted Applicants must be prepared for the possibility of no formal interview process Compliance with dress code and holiday shift requirements is expected Active MD or compact RN license required Current certifications : NRP, STABLE, C-EFM, ACLS, and BLS (all required prior to start) Minimum of 2 years recent L&D experience with high-risk cases Skills required : Circulation, fetal heart monitoring (FHM), precepting and / or charge responsibilities Triage experience preferred AWHONN certification preferred Two supervisory references required Return staff must have a 1-year gap from previous employment with the health system High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
