Location : El Monte, California

Pay : $30-35 based on experience and credentials

Job Description : We are seeking compassionate and experienced Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVNs) or Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to provide 1 : 1 care for students in a school setting. Ideal candidates will have prior experience in pediatrics or school nursing and a passion for supporting student health and wellness throughout the school day.

As a School LVN / LPN, you will play a vital role in identifying and addressing health concerns, promoting general wellness, providing health education, and supporting disease prevention efforts. You will monitor the student's physical condition, respond to health needs, and refer to appropriate healthcare resources when necessary. All care is delivered in accordance with the School LVN / LPN scope of practice and applicable state education codes.

Responsibilities :

Provide direct 1 : 1 care to students during the school day

Monitor and document student health status and changes

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

Collaborate with school staff, families, and healthcare providers

Promote wellness and educate students on healthy habits

Respond to health emergencies and follow appropriate protocols

Minimum Requirements :

Current LPN / LVN license in the state where services are provided

Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

One year of school nurse experience (preferred)

One year of pediatric experience (preferred)

Current CPR certification (if applicable)

TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray (if applicable)

Current health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

Must meet all federal, state, and local requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
