In a highly specialized field of psychiatry, our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical and emotional development to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to help our patients succeed.

The Hospital is looking for a Mental Health Tech / CNA : Friday - Monday 3P- : P (hrs) . In this position you will be responsible for providing the direct care to adolescent patients with psychiatric disorders, as well as substance abuse, to ensure the safety and wellbeing of the patients. MHTs have the primary responsibility for ensuring the patient’s safety on the unit.

Job Duties / Responsibilities :

• Conducts patient monitoring and observation minute checks
• Assists nursing staff on unit
• Ensure the safety and well-being of the patients
• Knowledge of risk and safety precautions in the care of patients
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, co-workers, physicians
• React calmly and effectively in emergency situations
