• About Ryze Agency
• Ryze Agency is a performance-focused digital marketing agency serving health and wellness brands that rely on e-commerce to drive revenue. We're looking for our first dedicated web developer—someone who can own this function entirely and become the go-to expert for everything web.
• The Role
• This is an autonomous role for someone who doesn't need hand-holding. You'll be the sole web developer managing all client website projects, optimizations, and technical implementations. We need someone who understands e-commerce platforms inside and out, can anticipate problems before they happen, and proactively identifies opportunities to improve conversion and user experience.
• What You'll Do
• E-Commerce Development
• : Build, maintain, and optimize Shopify, WooCommerce, and other e-commerce platforms for health / wellness brands
• Conversion Optimization
• : Audit sites for UX / CX improvements, page speed, mobile optimization, and checkout flow enhancements—then implement them
• Integrations & Automation
• : Connect platforms (CRMs, email tools, analytics, payment processors) and ensure seamless data flow
• Proactive Problem-Solving
• : You won't wait to be told something's broken—you'll monitor, test, and fix issues before clients notice
• Cross-Team Collaboration
• : Work with Paid Media, SEO, and Creative teams to implement tracking pixels, landing pages, A / B tests, and technical requirements
• Client Communication
• : Translate technical concepts into plain language for clients and provide strategic recommendations backed by data
• Who You Are
• E-commerce development experience (Shopify required; WooCommerce, BigCommerce, or custom platforms a plus)
• Deep understanding of conversion rate optimization, UX best practices, and e-commerce customer journeys
• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (or equivalent templating languages)
• Experience with GTM, GA4, Meta Pixel, and other tracking implementations
• Self-directed and highly organized—you manage your own projects and timelines effectively
• Comfortable working directly with clients and managing expectations
• Bonus : Familiarity with subscription models, health / supplement compliance, and DTC brands
• What Success Looks Like
• Websites load fast, convert well, and provide seamless customer experiences
• Technical implementations happen on time with zero client-facing issues
• You identify and execute optimization opportunities that directly impact revenue
• Clients trust you as their web expert and come to you with questions proactively
