Director of Education

Porter and Chester Institute is looking to add a Director of Education to our corporate education team. The Director of Education is responsible for day to day operations of instruction, teaching and curriculum. This position work directly with the Campus Director to establish the academic agenda and work plan. They will manage and collaborate with the Program Coordinators and Directors to carry out the education plan.

The Director of Education will oversee and manage the following to institutional standards:

• Learning Environment
• Instructional System Design
• Program Management
• Curriculum and courseware development
• Faculty hiring, training and evaluation
• Instructional budget and staffing plan
• Student retention
• Efficient scheduling and learning space utilization
• Represent campus to external academic community
• Ensure incorporation of effective teaching/learning methodology into all classroom/laboratory instruction
• Perform Faculty Observations and Program Management Plans
• Assist with securing student re-enrolls each term
• Assist Campus Director of Operations and Education with running all required reports in SAP and Learning Management Systems

Position Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Minimum 3 years’ direct or indirect supervisory/leadership experience required.
• Minimum 3 years teaching experience required.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, team building and employee development skills
• Tech savvy with Microsoft Office required.
• Experience with Anthology and Canvas preferred
