[job_card.job_description]Work 4x10 hour shifts from 10 : 00 PM to 8 : 30 AM with rotating start times as needed No weekends, no call, and no holidays required Guaranteed 3 shifts per 13-week contract Float within scope to ICU, main PACU, PCU, MS, and ER Holding as needed Patient ratio of 2 : 1 (preop may be 1 : 3) 40 hours of orientation provided Must have at least 2-3 years Level 1 ICU experience required Open to candidates with over 1 year ICU / ED experience at Level 1 or 2 facility Required certifications : BLS, ACLS CCRN and TNCC preferred Must pass Relias EKG exam Epic charting experience preferred Care for adult, adolescent, and geriatric patients in Level 1 trauma center Recover surgical patients from neurosurgery, ENT, plastics, orthopedics, thoracic, vascular, trauma, general, colorectal, GYN, urological, electrophysiology, interventional radiology, and transplant Does not recover open heart surgeries or liver transplants Skills required : dysrhythmia recognition / management, blood product administration, phlebotomy, starting IVs, IV vasopressors, ICP monitoring, care of ventilated patients, experience with drains, vasoactive drips, mechanical ventilation, and recovery from general anesthesia Night shift must learn preop patient workup Home address must be at least 75 miles from facility RTO limited to no more than 7 days per contract Navy blue scrubs required Referral bonus
