[job_card.job_description]Must possess a Master, Journeyman, or Wireman License with the Texas Department of Licensing & Regulation 1 year minimum of residential electrical experience required Clean driving record and current, valid driver’s license Ability to pass a drug test and background check required Strong customer service and communication skills Excellent work ethic and leadership skills Works well in a team environment Must be able to lift and move items of 75 pounds and / or more regularly and repetitively lift weights of 40 to 50 pounds on raised surfaces Must be able to climb, bend, kneel, crawl, and stoop frequently for extended periods Must be able to work in cramped or high places such as attics, ladders, and tunnels Must be able to carry heavy items up and down stairs Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions, including but not limited to extreme heat, rain, snow, or sleet Must have mental skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and a technical vocabulary to understand direction and adhere to established procedures. Must be willing to adapt well in the face of workplace stressors such as customer service complaints. Licensed Electricians average about 40+ hours a week, making $75k-$145k+ a year! (MUST HAVE RESIDENTIAL EXPERIENCE)
Job Description : Licensed Electrician
- Diagnose and repair residential and light commercial electrical applications in accordance with the State of Texas Building Codes.
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components, using test equipment and hand tools, to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
- Licensed Electrician will inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustment or repair, and to ensure compliance with all electrical codes.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility and safety of the system.
- Perform physically demanding tasks, such as digging trenches to lay conduit, moving, and lifting heavy objects, and crawling through small spaces such as attics.
