Job Description
Inpatient Rehab Coder – Contract-to-Hire
Remote | $32–$37 / hr

About the Role :
Our Client is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Coder to join their team. This role supports highly complex rehabilitation patients with extensive comorbidities, multi-traumas, and large documentation volumes (90–100+ pages). Training is 1 : 1.
Responsibilities :
- Code Inpatient Rehab (IRF) encounters, including IRF-PAI, IGC assignment, and IRF-PPS / CMG guidelines
- Manually abstract codes (no CAC) using Meditech Expanse and 3M / Solventum
- Review extensive multi-disciplinary notes (OT / PT / ST)
- Maintain productivity (4–5 charts / day) and 95% accuracy
