On-Call Nurse (RN or LPN)

POSITION : On-Call Nurse (RN or LPN) to provide essential one-on-one medical support for a student. This position serves as a crucial backup, providing coverage for the student's primary nurse in the event of their absence. LOCATION : 1.Hampden-Wilbraham Regional School District at Minnechaug Regional High School 2.Career Tech Education Center, West Springfield, MA JOB TYPE : Monday-Wednesday / School Calendar. As needed, to cover for the student's regular nurse. The assignment, when activated, is for the morning hours from 7 : 00 AM to 11 : 00 AM (4 hours). SALARY : $10.00 / hour on-call rate. $50.00 / hour if called into service for the assignment JOB DESCRIPTION : One to one nursing care determined by the medical needs of the student as outlined in the student's Individualize Health Care Plan :

• Provide student support (medical, educational)
• Monitor student's health status
• Ability to perform all required specialized medical procedures
