Clinical will screen first-time travelers

Weekend requirement : Weekend rotation to meet departmental needs

Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics

Experience with care coordination and discharge planning is essential

Knowledge of drug / alcohol abuse treatment options is required

Understanding of patients experiencing homelessness and those with mental health history is essential

Ability to organize and participate in family meetings is necessary

Participate in the development of treatment plans

Experience with arranging durable medical equipment, skilled nursing facilities, and ambulance transport is required

Must be proficient in computerized documentation and Microsoft applications

Interdisciplinary support includes social services and transportation

Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day

Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last three years is required

All travelers are expected to float between facilities within a given state

Refusal to float may result in termination of assignment

Providers may be required to submit monthly cell phone bills for reimbursement for work-related use

Modules are non-billable, and average 16 hours spent, with more than 20 hours requiring approval

Completion of modules is self-reported and recorded in transcripts
