  • Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM-4 : 00 PM (PST)

    • Job Summary :

    The Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative (PSR I) serves as the face of the organization, delivering compassionate and professional phlebotomy services to patients. This role involves collecting quality blood samples , preparing specimens for laboratory testing, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the collection process. The PSR I works under limited supervision, following established procedures and upholding the highest standards of clinical accuracy, confidentiality, and customer service.

    Key Responsibilities :

  • Perform high-quality venipuncture and capillary blood collection on patients of all ages.
  • Prepare, label, and process specimens for laboratory testing.
  • Maintain accurate and complete patient documentation while protecting confidentiality.
  • Ensure a safe, organized, and professional work environment .
  • Communicate clearly with patients to explain procedures and build trust.
  • Follow all infection control, quality, and safety guidelines .
  • Perform data entry, specimen tracking, and verification .
  • Provide coverage as needed, including weekends, holidays, or overtime shifts.
  • Promote a positive company image and ensure an excellent patient experience.

    • Required Experience :

  • Minimum 6 months of phlebotomy experience required.
  • 1+ years of experience preferred.
  • Prior customer service experience in healthcare, retail, or service environments.
  • Keyboard / data entry proficiency required.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting.

    • Education & Certification :

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Medical Assistant or Paramedic training preferred.
  • Phlebotomy certification required in Washington State.
