NOW HIRING AT THE NEW SPRINGVILLE CLYDE RECREATION CENTER!

Under the general direction of the Pool Manager, serves as a lifeguard / swim instructor at the Recreation Center pools.

DUTIES

Prevents accidents through the enforcement of policies, rules, regulations and ordinances governing the conduct of persons at the pool. Enters the water to rescue people in distress; resuscitates rescued swimmers, helps administer first aid to the injured and assists the supervisor during all emergencies. Assumes responsibillity for issuance and receipt of all pool equipment. Completes other tasks assigned by the pool manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Must be 15 years or older, unless approved by the Aquatics Director. Lifeguard training, CPR and First Aid Certificates are needed. Must pass swimming tests administered by Inservice and Training Director. WSI certification needed. Must pass drug screening and background check.
