Looking for a new emergency medicine (EM) opportunity in Western New York? TeamHealth has an excellent opportunity for a full-time physician to join our emergency department (ED) team at Mercy Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) in Orchard Park, New York. This 12-bed ED sees approximately 24,000 patients per year and offers advanced practice clinician coverage and 24 hours of daily physician coverage daily. The MACC has access to around-the-clock cardiac and stroke services at nearby Mercy Hospital of Buffalo-located just a few miles away. We ask that you be board certified or board eligible in emergency medicine or board certified in internal medicine (IM) or family medicine (FM) with EM experience. Facility Description

Mercy Ambulatory Care Center (MACC) is a licensed 2-bed hospital, officially named Mercy Hospital, offering 24 / 7 emergency care services. The MACC differs from an urgent care center because it is considered a hospital, and therefore, can accept ambulances and patients with acute illnesses or injuries. The MACC has access to around-the-clock cardiac and stroke services at nearby Mercy Hospital of Buffalo and all trauma is transferred to the level 1 trauma center at ECMC Health Campus in Buffalo. MACC is a part of Catholic Health, a non-profit healthcare system providing care to Western New York across a network of hospitals, primary care centers and other points of care.
