Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a Laser Operator role in Eugene, OR. Key Responsibilities :

Set up, operate, and monitor CNC laser cutting equipment to produce parts according to specifications.

Load and unload raw materials and finished parts safely and efficiently.

Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and cut files to ensure accurate production.

Perform quality inspections on finished parts to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality.

Make basic machine adjustments and offsets as needed to maintain cut accuracy.

Conduct routine maintenance, cleaning, and preventative checks on laser equipment.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with company safety standards.

Accurately document production data, material usage, and completed work orders.

Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily production goals.

Promptly report machine malfunctions, material defects, or safety concerns.

Qualifications :

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is a plus.

Prior experience operating CNC laser equipment or similar machinery preferred.

Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools (tape measure, calipers).

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.

Basic computer skills for machine operation and data entry.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Willingness to work varying shifts and overtime as required.

Experience with metal fabrication is a plus, but training may be provided.
