Hospice Aide Inpatient (36910)

Hinds Lifecare, one of the most well-known and well-respected nonprofit agencies in California's Central Valley and a pioneer in the practice of hospice and palliative care, is seeking a Per Diem Hospice Aide, Inpatient for evening and night shifts to join our team.

Under supervision of the Clinical Manager, the Hospice Aide cares for patients on an inpatient basis by providing personal care services to patients in the Hinds Lifecare home. Demonstrates knowledge, attitudes, behaviors, and skills that are consistent with the performance standards, code of ethics and scope of practice for hospice and palliative nursing assistants.

• Assists with patient activities of daily living.
• Assists with implementation of plan of care.
• Maintains accurate documentation in accordance with hospice home policies and procedures.
• Assists in the mobilization and ambulation of patients.
• Communicates changes in patient status and patient reports of discomfort.
