[job_card.job_description]Manage, oversee, and coordinate all facets of pre-construction, bid / award, construction, and close-out phases for assigned projects. Review pre-construction documents and provide feedback to designers as needed. Prepare and present project status reports to senior management and client stakeholders. Coordinate with public agencies and the public sector client to ensure compliance and resolve issues. Monitor project budgets and schedules to meet client quality standards; ensure budgets reflect actual progress. Manage contractor activities, review schedules and submittals, and respond to RFIs / RFCs. Review contractor substitutions for compliance with specifications and client requirements. Negotiate change orders, review potential schedule impacts, and ensure fair pricing. Oversee payment processes for contractors, architects, and engineers. Administer provisions of professional service agreements between architects and the client. Coordinate delivery of fixtures, furniture, and equipment. Manage project close-out, including certification and financial close-out. Ensure compliance with safety and OSHA regulations (OSHA 30 minimum preferred). Other related duties as assigned. 10 to 15 years of full-time experience in Construction or a combination of Project and Construction Management of Commercial or Public / Educational Facility Construction with 3-5 years of full responsibility managing projects with construction values between $10M – $20M. Design Build Experience Experience with LEED, BIM, and DSA construction / design processes Diploma from a recognized college / university with a Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management OR a valid Certified Construction Manager(CCM) credential OR a Bachelor’s Degree and the ability to earn a CCM within 1 year of employment An active Certificate of Registration as an Architect by the California Architectural Board or Professional Engineer by the State Board for Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors An active CCM Credential by the Construction Manager Certification Institute (CMCI) OSHA 30 Certificate Medical, Dental & Vision : 100% employer-paid monthly premiums for employees and 50% coverage for dependents under our company-sponsored plan Life Insurance : Company-paid coverage up to $50,000 Paid Time Off (PTO) : Accrues up to 80 hours per year with increased accrual based on tenure Sick Leave : 10 days of paid sick leave annually - well above the average of 5-6 days offered by most firms Holidays : 9 paid holidays, 2 floating holidays, and a paid day off for your BIRTHDAY!!! 401(k) : Company match up to 4% (100% of the first 3%, 50% of the next 2%) Education Support : Assistance with tuition, licenses, and professional certifications Referral Bonus : Highest employee referral program of $5,000–$10,000 depending on level of hire Extra Paid Leave : For jury duty, bereavement leave, and voting time for local / state / federal elections Client Shutdown Days : Additional paid days off when client offices are closed Equipment : Laptop provided as needed Cell Phone Stipend : $100 monthly stipend for eligible roles Be part of trusted leader in delivering impactful public sector projects. We are seeking a Construction Manager to join our team. In this role, you will take charge of overseeing and directing all stages of large-scale construction projects, from the initial planning phase right through to project completion. You will be responsible for coordinating various project activities, tackling construction-related challenges, and ensuring that every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Salary Range : $165K / Year-$185K / Year - Dependent on Candidate's Qualifications
