Project Kuiper Sr. Technical Program Manager

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch thousands of low earth orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world, including USA and international governments. This position will lead the deployment and sustainment of gateways in support of government customers using Kuiper.

Key job responsibilities :

• Managing the program team
• Establishing program cost, technical and schedule baselines
• Tracking progress towards that baseline
• Identifying project critical schedule paths
• Establishing and implementing plans to avoid and recover from challenges
• Ensuring programs meet customer cost, technical and schedule goals

You will work with KGS product, engineering, contracts, finance, supply chain, and business development employees to support your programs. You will work closely with the Kuiper commercial to organize resources, schedule milestones, and track achievements. You will work in a collaborative, analytical, fast-paced environment and must be comfortable interacting with highly technical cross-functional teams. The candidate must have strong business judgment, dive deep into data, have strong writing skills, and be comfortable leading executive-level reviews. The best candidates will have deep understanding of satellite communications systems and components, systems engineering, and program management. Candidates with experience executing programs to develop, field, maintain, and support SATCOM ground radio frequency antennas and components, and supporting networks will be preferred.

Security Clearance : This position requires that the candidate selected be a U.S. citizen and must currently possess and maintain an active (within the past 2 years) TS / SCI security clearance.
