Assignment Dates : December 8, 2025 – January 1, 2026

Employment Type : Locum tenens physician contract

Setting : On-site hospital, Level 3 trauma center

Shift : Clinical call 8am–5pm Monday–Friday; night call during the week; 24-hour weekend call

Estimated Hours per Week : 36

Estimated weekly salary range : $6,390 - $7,560

Patient Encounters per Shift : 25–30

Physician Qualifications – OB / GYN Locum Tenens

Board Certified OB / GYN (MD or DO) – Texas medical license preferred

Clean malpractice history

Eligible for emergency privileges

Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Minimum 1 year of OB / GYN experience in clinical or hospital setting

Proficient in OB ultrasounds (performance and interpretation)

Experienced in both low and high-risk pregnancies

Skilled in routine and complicated deliveries : vaginal, low forceps, C-section

Competent in office / minor gynecology procedures : IUD, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP

Providers with active Baptist privileges are highly preferred

OB / GYN Physician Responsibilities

Deliver comprehensive OB / GYN clinical care Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Participate in hospital call coverage : night call and 24-hour weekend call

Manage 25–30 patient encounters per shift, ensuring high-quality women's health services

Perform and interpret OB ultrasounds (Level I / Screening required; Level II / Targeted preferred)

Care for low and high-risk pregnancies, including FHR interpretation and NST / CST / FSE

Conduct routine and complicated deliveries : vaginal, low forceps, and C-sections

Perform office and minor gynecology procedures : IUD placement, cystoscopy, colposcopy, cryosurgery, LEEP

Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes

Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation
