Mail Presorter – 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shift

Location : Aurora, ILType : FullTime

Available Shifts & Pay Rates

1st Shift : Tuesday – Saturday, 6 : 00 AM – 12 : 00 PM — $17.50 / hr

2nd Shift : Monday – Friday, 2 : 00 PM – 10 : 00 PM — $18.50 / hr

3rd Shift : Monday – Friday, 10 : 00 PM – 6 : 00 AM — $20.50 / hr

About the Role

We are hiring Mail Presorters to support a highvolume mail processing warehouse in Aurora, IL. This role is ideal for individuals who are detailoriented, reliable, and comfortable working in a fastpaced production environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare outgoing permit and metered mail by verifying correct date, postage, and barcode quality

Identify and communicate errors or unreadable barcodes on mail or packages

Troubleshoot and clear mail jams from sorting machines

Monitor mail quality before processing and dispatch

Understand USPS zip code labels and match bin numbers to tray numbers

Follow QMS (Quality Management System) procedures to ensure accuracy of :

Date

Weight

Thickness

Barcodes

Presort slug

Indicia

Postage rate

Class of mail

Prepare and stack sorted mail according to USPS requirements

Ensure sorter equipment is running properly and report issues

Assist with inbound and outbound mail processing

Stay aware of truck departure times and ensure mail meets SLA deadlines

Maintain a clean, safe work area

Perform additional duties as assigned

Your Background

Must be dependable, punctual, and reliable

Knowledge of presort mailing is a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong organizational and customer service skills

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without accommodation

Ability to walk, stand, stoop, and bend for most of the shift

Able to understand and follow safety and operational instructions in English

Willing to work overtime, including weekends or holidays, with short notice

Must have current experience working as a Warehouse Mail Sorter
