Debug Engineer (Gameplay) | North America | Canada | Europe | Fully Remote

What we are looking for :

Here at Escape Velocity, we are looking for a Debug Engineer who will be responsible for identifying and resolving technical issues. This role involves performing in-depth analysis and debugging to ensure the product meets high quality / world class standards. The candidate will collaborate with engineering and support teams to enhance system performance and reliability.

What we will do together :

• Create internal tools that assist in problem solving, improve developer ease to maintain, and identify issues.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot game features and stability.
• Perform in-depth debugging and analysis of system failures.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to resolve technical problems.
• Develop, modify, and debug gameplay software in script and C / C++
• Assist in the development and implementation of system improvement strategies.
• Conduct root cause analysis and provide recommendations for corrective actions.
• Utilize diagnostic tools and techniques to identify issues in a timely manner.
