Director of Facilities

Summary / Objective

The Director of Facilities is responsible for overseeing the overall building maintenance

and general upkeep of restaurants, commissary, and other Schulson Collective

facilities.

Essential Functions

• Inspect facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance
• required, maintain tracking system of projects that need to be completed.
• Develop preventative maintenance program and tracking system of preventative
• Prepare weekly maintenance staff schedules and allocate work to ensure repairs
• completed in timely manner.
• Recruit, supervise, and train facilities staff.
• Contract vendors (HVAC, plumbing, electrical, etc.) to complete tasks as required
• and supervise completion of tasks.
• Hire and supervise subcontractors and vendors to complete tasks as needed
• Maintaining a proper inventory of equipment, supplies, and other necessary
• items required to perform duties assigned.
• Analyzes cost control evaluations, inventory management, and work order trends
• to make appropriate facilities recommendations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibility

This position supervises all facilities staff.

Physical Demands

The employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally push and / or pull up to 125 pounds. The employee may spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.
