About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Risk and Analytics Officer to join their dynamic executive team. This strategic and hands-on role is pivotal in shaping the company's trajectory as a leading player in the construction finance sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing company analytics, credit, and risk management, and will play a critical part in defining the long-term success of the business through innovation, collaboration, and strategic oversight. Key responsibilities include leading credit strategy and optimization, developing credit models and algorithms, and championing insight-driven decision-making. The role also involves managing the financing lifecycle analytics, building and enforcing credit policies, and driving customer acquisition quality from a credit perspective.

Applicants for the Chief Risk and Analytics Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years of experience in commercial lending, credit risk analytics, and risk management, with a strong background in credit policy, underwriting, and risk scoring. A data-driven mindset, comprehensive knowledge of the lending lifecycle, and proven expertise in B2B lending, particularly in construction finance or adjacent industries, are essential. The role requires a leader with a strategic and tactical approach, a focus on profitability, and a track record of implementing value-driving initiatives. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
