[job_card.job_description]Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues. Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior. Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards according to Allied Universal and client protocols. Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors to provide assistance and uphold site rules and regulations. Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing conditions and requirements specific to the financial institution environment. A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. At least one year of security-related experience is required. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
