Security Guard - Bank Patrol Driver

As an unarmed patrol officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned financial institution locations, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide outstanding customer service. This is a driving post, requiring you to navigate the property and respond promptly to situations as they arise. What You'll Do

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support a secure environment.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas within the financial institution to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards according to Allied Universal and client protocols.
  • Communicate professionally with visitors, employees, and / or contractors to provide assistance and uphold site rules and regulations.
  • Remain alert and attentive while on duty, adapting to changing conditions and requirements specific to the financial institution environment.

    • Minimum Requirements

  • A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
