This entry-level position focuses on installing, setting up, repairing, and maintaining vending, cooling, and fountain equipment at customer locations. You will diagnose equipment issues and determine the best approach for repairs or replacements while working independently and engaging frequently with customers. Successful candidates must complete Pepsi Pro certification within the required timeframe.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform repairs and preventative maintenance on marketing equipment.
- Load and unload products as needed.
- Provide customers with education on equipment repair and maintenance.
- Install equipment, including making necessary connections for water, gas, and drains.
- Fill and adjust installed equipment to the correct mixture.
- Drive to various locations, assess situations, and perform necessary repairs, which may involve plumbing, electrical work, refrigeration, or carpentry.
- Accurately collect equipment and customer information.
- Replace old parts with new parts as needed.
- Maintain inventory of parts on the service truck.
- Establish positive relationships with customers at service calls.
- Complete documentation after each call using an e-pad.
- Transport miscellaneous items as required.
- Adhere to safety protocols and driving regulations.
- Complete all necessary training modules for job proficiency.
- Develop diagnostic and repair skills specific to the beverage industry.
- Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality.
Basic Qualifications :
Must be 18 years or older.Must be 21 years or older if a valid U.S. CDL is required.CDL license with Non-Excepted Interstate Status may be required based on location.Pass DOT Physical and Road-test, if necessary.Comply with DOT Regulations.Effective communication skills in English is essential if CDL is required.Helpful Experience :
Hands-on experience with mechanical systems and troubleshooting.Customer service experience, including resolving customer issues and communication with management.Knowledge of basic refrigeration systems and procedures.Understanding of electrical systems and plumbing.Experience with equipment installation across various sectors (HVAC, refrigeration, etc.).Equal Opportunity Employment :
