Senior Facilities Administrator

Peraton is seeking a senior facilities administrator who will be responsible for overseeing the management and operations of facilities within a Northern Virginia office location. This role involves coordinating various aspects of facility maintenance, space planning, and services to ensure a safe, efficient, and comfortable working environment.

Responsibilities :

• Facility Management : Support the facility engineer in the overall management and maintenance of the organization's facilities, including office buildings, equipment, and grounds.
• Facility Management : Develop and implement policies and procedures related to facility management.
• Space Planning : Coordinate office moves to optimize the use of available space.
• Space Planning : Collaborate with departments to understand space needs and plan accordingly.
• Vendor Management : Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers for facility-related services.
• Vendor Management : Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and quality services.
• Budgeting and Cost Control : Develop and manage budgets for facility-related expenses.
• Budgeting and Cost Control : Monitor costs, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement budgetary controls.
• Health and Safety : Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement measures to create a safe working environment.
• Health and Safety : Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments.
• Emergency Preparedness : Develop and implement emergency response plans for various situations, ensuring the safety of occupants.
• Emergency Preparedness : Coordinate drills and training sessions for facility occupants.
• Maintenance Programs : Implement preventive maintenance programs for building systems, equipment, and infrastructure.
• Maintenance Programs : Schedule and oversee routine inspections and maintenance activities.
• Communication : Liaise with internal departments, management, and stakeholders to understand their facility needs.

Target Salary Range : $66,000 - $106,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
