CPA Licensed Tax Director

A company is looking for a Tax Director - Nonprofit (NFP).

Key Responsibilities

Lead compliance for complex exempt organization filings, including Forms 990 and related schedules

Advise on UBIT analyses and structuring of program-related investments and partnerships

Guide exemption matters and handle IRS / state controversy support

Required Qualifications

Credentials : CPA or EA required; MS Tax or JD / LLM preferred

Experience : 10+ years in exempt organization tax with progressive leadership

Technical Excellence : Knowledge of IRC sections applicable to exempt organizations and partnership taxation

Leadership & Business Development : Experience in practice initiatives and coaching staff

Client Influence : Ability to communicate complex tax concepts to non-tax audiences
