A day in this role
You start your shift in Newington, NH, open your company-provided laptop or phone, and review L2L work orders. Preventive maintenance is first up—checking pneumatic controls for building systems and production lines, verifying hydraulic circuits on key machines, and logging findings in the CMMS. A production call comes in : a CNC cell is down. You dive into electrical and mechanical schematics, ladder logic, and diagnostic software, trace the fault, and bring the system back online. Later, you partner with production to fine-tune a piece of equipment for a process improvement initiative. Before you wrap, you requisition critical parts, document repairs, and tackle general duties assigned by management.
