The ideal candidate for the Legal Assistant position will be a well-organized, proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a strong desire to progress within our organization. Specific Job Responsibilities :

  • Assist in drafting and compiling legal documents
  • Answering, screening and forwarding incoming phone calls
  • Receiving and sorting daily mail
  • Update all internal systems with relevant case information and status.
  • Exercise a high degree of confidentiality and professionalism
  • Safeguard compliance with local, state, and federal foreclosure, bankruptcy, and collections requirements as applicable

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities :

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English languages
  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office applications
  • Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication
  • Superior organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and efficiency .

    • Required Education and Training :

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • High school or equivalent required
