CNC Operator Lead

IMMEDIATE job opportunity for a driven individual who has a proven track record of performance and desires to work for a well-established organization. We are looking for an experienced  CNC Operator Lead for a   great international manufacturing company  located in  Costa Mesa, CA. 2nd shift.

Examples of Duties and Responsibilities :

• Monitors assigned manufacturing operations within CNC lathe area;
• Sets up, operate CNC lathes and other related equipment;
• Requests purchases of tools and supplies;
• Review employee problems with department supervisor and manager;
• Works closely with CNC Programmer concerning programmed jobs;
• Expedites work as directed;
• Train operators how to operate jib crane and bridge crane to load and unload parts;

QUALIFICATIONS GUIDELINE :

Experience / Training / Education :

Considerable experience in CNC lathe operation in a machine shop setting; working knowledge of Jib cranes and Bridge type cranes. Working knowledge of machine shop operations and manufacturing practices; minimum high school diploma, supplemented by course work or training in leadership fundamentals.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities :

Compensation : Pay rate $26.00 to $30.00 hr / DOE
