Job Title : Endoscopy Registered Nurse Profession : Registered Nurse Specialty : Endoscopy Duration : 13 weeks Shift : Day Hours per Shift : 8 hours (07 : 30 - 16 : 00) Experience : Minimum 1 year of Endoscopy experience License : Active Texas RN license required Certifications : ACLS, BLS Must-Have : Endoscopy experience in procedures such as EGD, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, ERCP, and advanced endoscopy techniques. Ability to administer conscious sedation and monitor patients during procedures. Experience with Epic charting system preferred. Description : Responsibilities include performing a variety of endoscopic procedures. Candidates should have experience with EGD, Colonoscopy, Bronchoscopy, ERCP, and other advanced techniques. The work environment comprises fast-paced daily procedures with a patient census of 70-80 cases per day. There is no on-call duty, weekend, or holiday work required. Candidates must be willing to accommodate time off requests and holidays according to unit policy. Strong interdisciplinary support framework is in place, including pharmacy and rapid response teams. Travelers may be required to wear a mask if not vaccinated for COVID-19. A full seven-year work history, including gaps in employment, must be submitted. This position entails working with adult patients. Candidates are expected to have familiarity with a variety of endoscopic instruments and procedures. Prior charge experience is beneficial but not mandatory. Adherence to safety and best practice standards is essential. The role requires effective communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with medical staff and provide optimal patient care.
