Primary Purpose
A Senior Registered Nurse (RN) plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care in our Burn ICU. With a minimum of two years of experience, you will utilize your nursing expertise to coordinate care for patients with specialized needs while working collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals.
Minimum Specifications
- Education : Graduate from an accredited nursing school; BSN preferred.
- Experience : Must have at least two years of nursing experience, preferably in an acute care setting.
- Licensure : Valid RN license from the Texas Board of Nursing or a valid Compact RN license. Must hold current certifications in BLS, ACLS, PALS, and ABLS from recognized organizations.
Key Skills and Abilities :
Provide patient-centered care compliant with the Texas Nurse Practice Act and clinical standards.Demonstrate effective communication with patients, families, and healthcare team members.Exhibit strong leadership, mentoring newer staff, and serving as a Charge Nurse.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of nursing standards in a critical care environment.Responsibilities :
Advocate for patients' rights and needs, maintaining confidentiality and cultural preferences.Perform thorough patient assessments and recognize changes in conditions, implementing timely interventions.Manage comprehensive care for adult ICU patients with complex medical issues.Ensure compliance with nursing regulations, documenting all care accurately and timely.Participate in educational opportunities to further develop your nursing practice.Identify and recommend improvements to enhance patient care and satisfaction.Join us in making a difference in the lives of our patients and the community.
