Job Summary and Qualifications
Provide direct patient care in alignment with the Texas Nursing Practice Act and focus on outcomes for blood cancer patients.Assess health statuses and needs through health data interpretation in collaboration with patients and interdisciplinary teams.Deliver individualized, goal-oriented nursing care with a systematic approach.Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments to evaluate patient health status.Develop personalized care plans based on nursing diagnoses and identified needs.Implement care plans while adhering to the RN's scope of practice and relevant laws.Create and execute educational plans for patients aimed at promoting health and recovery.Required Qualifications :
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification is required within 6 months of hire.Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.Current Registered Nurse license is a must.ONS Chemotherapy Biotherapy Certificate must be obtained within 60 days of starting employment.Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required within 24 months of hiring.Recent / Current Acute Care experience in a hospital environment.Previous experience in Oncology, BMT, Critical Care, ICU, or PCU preferred.Join our esteemed medical team at Medical City Dallas, a premier 895+ bed tertiary care center known for exceptional patient care.
