The Opportunity

We are looking for someone who brings positivity and a smile to work every day. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with great communication and people skills.

As a Family Law Attorney at TK Law, you will:

• Manage ~30-40 active family law cases from start to finish (these numbers may change based on the complexity of the cases and the stage of the case);
• Represent clients in hearings and mediations (on average, 3-5 per month);
• Collaborate with dedicated paralegals & mentor junior staff; and,
• Guide people through crises with skill, empathy, and courage.

• Client Representation: Advocate for clients in court and mediation with both confidence and compassion. Empathy and impact are important.
• Case Management: Own every stage of your cases from pleadings and discovery to negotiations and trial prep with diligence and a solutions-driven focus.
• Legal Writing & Research: Draft clear, persuasive petitions, motions, and briefs with precision and attention to detail. We are not looking to paper files or churn fees. We want you to be concise and effective.
• Team Collaboration: Strategize with attorneys, mentor juniors, and coordinate with paralegals. At TK Law, the team is number one
• Community Presence: Attend bar events, contribute to thought leadership, and help grow TK Laws reputation.

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited law school and licensed with The Florida Bar
• 3+ years of family law litigation in Florida (trial experience preferred)
• Strong track record in legal writing, advocacy, and courtroom practice (you must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and Google Products (Google Drive and Google Sheets). Familiarity with client management software such as Clio is a plus.
• Reputation for integrity, professionalism, and client-centered service
• Drive to be better and make your team better. We are not looking for people who are ok with being mediocre.
