Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for various tasks including put-aways, loading, picking, and staging. You will work closely with other team members on rack teardowns and other ad hoc projects. This role is physically demanding and involves case picking products weighing between 10lbs to 60lbs throughout an 8-hour shift. Proficiency in operating a Raymond stand-up forklift is required.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, pick, put away, consolidate, stack, and stage products and materials using a stand-up reach forklift.
• Perform case picking from multiple pallets.
• Inspect each pallet and case for proper quantities, items, brands, and lot codes.
• Communicate problems, concerns, and ideas to management and identify process improvements.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly work area and assist in maintaining warehouse security.
• Support all operational processes and procedures to ensure customer value and compliance with policies and regulations.
• Assist with physical inventories and cycle counts, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Follow specific work instructions and best practices to safely and accurately complete daily work assignments.
• Participate in all assigned training programs and adhere to guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

This position is based in a Warehouse Distribution Center. Employees are expected to adhere to safety guidelines and contribute to maintaining a secure and orderly workspace. The role involves physical activity, including the operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment, in a dynamic and team-oriented environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
