Job Summary:

• Our client is seeking a highly skilled Systems Engineer 4 to join their esteemed team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the development and integration of complex systems, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of safety and performance.

Job Responsibilities:

• Define, decompose, and allocate requirements from aircraft-level to system and item level.
• Develop and maintain functional and logical airplane and system architecture.
• Conduct functional hazard assessments and system safety analyses in line with safety objectives.
• Guide design and implementation, ensuring traceability to all-level requirements.
• Plan and execute verification and validation activities across the V-model.
• Support safety analyses and ensure compliance with aerospace/defense regulations.

Skills Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical/Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 9+ years of experience in systems engineering lifecycle within aerospace or similar domains.
• Proficiency in V-Diagram processes and safety assessments.
• Familiarity with certification frameworks like ARP4754A and DO-178C.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to work in multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent technical writing and communication skills
• Bachelor's degree with 9+ years of experience, Master's with 7+ years, or PhD with 4+ years in engineering or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with requirements management tools like DOORS.
• Knowledge of system modeling (SysML/UML, Cameo) at the airplane and systems level.
• Experience in leading test planning and execution.
