Class Summary

Job Description

This position is in the Business Services Division and c

oordinates and processes a variety of purchasing requests payment requests maintenance agreements invoices accounts receivables payroll and / or other related documents as well as reconciling financial reports. Personnel in this position will serve as a liaison to other county departments assist with inquiries from employees vendors and / or other interested parties regarding payment and / or other related information and performs a variety of clerical and / or receptionist functions which may include typing answering phones filing copying faxing opening and distributing mail and / or performing other related activities.

Essential Duties

• Make purchases from assigned purchasing requisitions
• Shop multiple vendors to ensure best pricing (when applicable)
• Purchase items through County contracts
• Answer phone calls and fulfill requests
• Answer emails and fulfill requests
• Pull inventory items
• Filing paperwork

Public Speaking Duties

Grade

The grade for this position is B21(1) .

Effective 4 / 11 / 2023 this position is eligible for the Employee Referral Program.

Minimum Qualifications

High School Diploma or G.E.D. AND

Three years bookkeeping accounts payable and / or accounts receivable experience. OR

An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.
