Laborer, Snow
The Best Teams Are Created and Maintained Here. The Laborer, Snow performs all aspects of snow removal during the winter. This role also cleans, maintains, and secures all equipment as directed by policies and procedures.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Remove snow using a snowplow and heavy equipment for several hours at a time, depending on the amount of snowfall
- Be available each time it snows and report either to a central location or directly to the jobsite
- Remove snow in appropriate locations, avoid piling it on trees, shrubs, fire hydrants or sidewalks
- Report any concerns or incidents to the direct supervisor
- Fill out a job sheet when finished working after each snow removal operation
- Participate in maintaining a safe and secure work environment for team employees and clients by adhering to company safety policies
- Be aware of safety issues or concerns, and report them to the appropriate Supervisor
- Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor / manager
Education and Experience :
High School Diploma or GEDValid Driver's License and the ability to drive to a variety of work locations in assigned territoryReliable transportation to and from any work sitePrior experience operating snowplow equipmentAbility to participate in routine maintenance of equipmentExperience working efficiently in a production-driven / fast paced environmentDependabilityPhysical Demands / Requirements :
Ability to lift 50 poundsAbility to climb in and out of equipmentAbility to sit for long periods of timeAbility to safely operate equipmentAbility to communicate effectivelyWork Environment :

Compensation Pay Range : $30.00- $35.00
