Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Located in Oakland, CA, this part-time (0.6 FTE) position within a K-12 school offers an opportunity to support student learning and development as a School Psychologist. This contract role begins in late February, covering a maternity leave, and requires onsite presence at a single school site.

Under the guidance of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, you will conduct psycho-educational assessments for referred students and provide consultative support to staff and families. Additionally, you will deliver short-term counseling services to special education students as designated by IEP teams and to general education students when appropriate. Flexibility is essential due to changing caseloads and evolving student needs.

Key responsibilities include :

• Administering comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations
• Collaborating with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to develop effective learning strategies
• Offering short-term counseling services and crisis intervention as needed
• Maintaining accurate and confidential student records
• Participating in IEP meetings and contributing to the development of individualized educational plans
