Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in Oakland, CA, this part-time (0.6 FTE) position within a K-12 school offers an opportunity to support student learning and development as a School Psychologist. This contract role begins in late February, covering a maternity leave, and requires onsite presence at a single school site.
Under the guidance of the Assistant Superintendent of Student Services, you will conduct psycho-educational assessments for referred students and provide consultative support to staff and families. Additionally, you will deliver short-term counseling services to special education students as designated by IEP teams and to general education students when appropriate. Flexibility is essential due to changing caseloads and evolving student needs.
