Nights, 8 and 12-hour shifts with every third weekend rotation and holiday rotation.
Sign-On Bonus : $15,000 for 3rd Shift.
Student Loan Forgiveness : Up to $20,000.

Unit Overview :
Join our 24-bed Neurosurgical Unit, where you will care for a diverse patient population, including :
Post-operative craniotomies.Cervical, thoracic, and lumbar spine surgeries.Hemorrhagic and ischemic stroke patients as part of our Comprehensive Stroke Program.High volume of cervical and spinal surgery patients, along with medical overflow cases.As part of the Aurora Neuroscience Innovation Institute (ANII), our unit provides exposure to the latest neurosurgical techniques and cutting-edge care.

Registered Nurse license issued by the state.Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.Education Required :
Completion of an accredited Nursing program.Experience Required :

Ability to sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, reach, and twist frequently.Must lift up to 50 lbs. from floor to waist and 20 lbs. overhead.Ability to carry 40 lbs. a reasonable distance and push / pull with 30 lbs. of force.Must perform a sliding transfer of 150 lbs. with assistance.Required to use foot pedals on carts or machines.Exposure to chemicals, hazardous waste, and bodily fluids; protective gear must be worn.Functional speech, vision, hearing, and fine manipulation skills for procedures.Operates all necessary equipment for duties.This job description outlines the essential nature and level of work expected.
