Willingness to work 25-35 hours weekly during tax season, with up to 40 hours during peak weeks. Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment or Income Tax Course. Experience in dynamic work environments. Comfortable with various virtual tools, including video, phone, and chat. Strong communication skills across in-person, phone, and written formats. Compliance with all IRS and applicable state requirements. A high school diploma or equivalent, or higher. Employee Assistance Program with Health Advocate. A Day in the Life of a Tax Consultant...
As a Tax Consultant at H&R Block, you will receive comprehensive support and training from our expert team, equipping you to succeed. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility that comes with this role, along with potential extra earnings.
- Conduct engaging tax interviews with clients in-person and through virtual platforms such as video, phone, chat, and email.
- Prepare accurate and complete tax returns with attention to detail.
