Pediatric Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant

This is an opportunity to join a very well run practice with a highly competent and motivated team of clinicians, clinical and administrative staff. Our pediatricians share the privilege of rounding on our newborn patients in the area hospitals. Position Overview:

• We are seeking a compassionate Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Miami Lakes office
• This position is a mix of outpatient and after-hours care
  • 1-2 days per week: 5:30pm-10:30pm
  • 2:4 Saturday: 8am-8pm
• EMR: ECW with AI Charting

Education:

• Successful completion of an Accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
• Physician Assistants must have passed the NCCPA certification exam
• Nurse Practitioners graduating after July 1, 2006 must be board certified.
• Nurse Practitioners must be certified by the ANCC or PNCB

Licensure/Certification:

• Current, unrestricted license in the state of Florida
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required

Experience:

• Must have 2 years of general pediatric experience and be comfortable working independently
