[job_card.job_description]Work in a 34-bed Emergency Department within a non-trauma-designated hospital Cares for all ages with high acuity, including trauma stabilization, mental health, substance abuse, stroke, respiratory, cardiac, and diabetic emergencies Typical nurse-to-patient ratio is 1 : 4 in a fast-paced, high-volume ED seeing 200+ patients daily Utilizes Epic EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medication dispensing, and Phillips monitors Evening 12-hour shifts from 1500 to 0300 with a 6-week scheduling cycle Weekend rotation required every other weekend Holiday requirement of working 75% of holidays assigned Floating required within the specified region, including multiple facilities, with on-the-clock travel when floating mid-shift Support available from CNAs, receptionists, and charge nurses within the department Orientation includes hospital-wide onboarding and two days of departmental orientation Navy scrubs required per unit dress code Team-oriented work culture with an emphasis on collaboration Free parking provided First-time travelers will be considered but are not preferred Must live at least 50 miles from the home unit per radius rule Up to 6 days of time off approved excluding holidays, with contract extension for unmet hours Active NC or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience required Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, and CPI certifications required TNCC certification preferred Proficiency in adult and pediatric emergency nursing including cardiac rhythm interpretation, critical care drips, PIV starts, TNK / TPA administration, and conscious sedation Experience with Epic EMR preferred High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
