YOUR LIFE AS A VET TECH - VETERINARY TECHNICIAN SPECIALIST

Monday through Thursday, from 7 am to 5 pm , you can be found assisting our veterinarian at our dental clinic. As a VTS, you have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of both clients and their furry companions while maintaining a healthy work / life balance.

You handle various tasks such as taking X-rays, providing thorough dental cleanings, and accurately charting patients. Additionally, you play a key role in surgical procedures by sterilizing instruments, preparing patients for surgery, and administering and monitoring anesthesia. After surgery, you aid in the discharge process, walking our clients through post-care procedures and medication regimens for their pets. No matter the task, your kind, calming demeanor reassures clients and puts cats and dogs at ease.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Oregon certified vet tech license OR eligible through OVMEB to become licensed
• Ability to assist during advanced oral surgery and dental procedures
